One click in.
Finished video out.
No installer windows, no Python, no terminal. It installs like any Claude extension and sets the rest up by itself.
Install
Double-click the file and click Install in Claude. Paste your key. The studio sets itself up in the background, once.
Drop
Put your files in Documents › Byditors Studio › INBOX: talking head, voiceover, b-roll, photos, a script. Or tell Claude where they are.
Ask
Type “Make my video”. A preview comes back. Ask for changes the way you'd brief an editor: different opening clip, bigger chart, slower voice.
Export
Take it out as 1080p or 4K, as vertical Shorts, with thumbnails, or as a timeline for Premiere or Resolve.
What you need
- Windows 10/11 or macOS 13+, with 8 GB of RAM (16 GB is smoother)
- About 5 GB of free space
- The Claude desktop app on a paid plan: Pro works, Max is better for long videos
- Internet for the first setup, then a short licence check every few days
The first time
After you click Install, the studio downloads its editing engine in the background: its own Python, ffmpeg, the graphics browser and the voice and transcription models, about 1.5 GB. It takes 10 to 25 minutes. Keep using Claude meanwhile and ask “Is Byditors Studio ready?” to see how far it is.
Nothing touches the rest of your computer. Your files live in Documents › Byditors Studio.
Updates
Download the new file and double-click it. Claude installs it over the old one and keeps your licence, settings, brand kits and projects.
